LEARN FROM THE RIVER

Jerone Avel S. Cansino

In you water flows, in an endless phase
In a perfect, calm, a day of peace
So sweet the sound, the tone it makes
As it roll into the ocean the deepest of the sees

There is life in you, trailing your way
There is death in some time, the stormy day
For a thirsty wandering soul, astray
A light, a gift divine you may

You seek for lower grounds and so
From the highest of the mountains flow
A lesson for the mankind now
Dumbfounded by the greed! A foe

You never stops until you reach
The waters of the widest seas
Forward on you never cease
Forward on as if with ease

You river, varies in length and depth
Be it wide or shallow, deep
Its rapids fast, in falls you leap
In peace we hear it flows with grace
