At the End of the Bridge

Jeone Avel S. Cansino

Even if my waiting takes half of my lifetime
I will be true until that day when you will be mine
Until that day when we we’re both prepared to commit
When we’ve both victoriously had conquered our dreams

Distance won’t matter as long as I’m in love
Even a million miles won’t stop this fire burning in my heart
Yes it is a hard thing but with you as the prize I will do anything
Against the odds trials and confusion I will definitely win

With God on our side we are invulnerable
Loving Him with all our hearts He’ll be the defender of our team
Our thoughts and actions will be anchored to his will
That perfect will of God that is incorruptible

I’m not a poet, nor a songwriter
I’m just a normal man inspired and in love
In love to a noble woman of beauty intelligence and values

A woman whom I promised, until we cross the bridge
