Dare my Dear

Jerone Avel S. Cansino

The journey be long
The way may be dark
I walk this step
In courage and might

The raging torrents
The billowing tides
I rise this turmoil
In courage and might

In darkest nights
As terrors reign
Head on I run
I courageously will

Should I fear?
 face the unknown?
When everything else
Is made to be known?

The mountains so high
Should I quit dreaming big?
Would I dare to try
Or forever be weak.

I might die in the process
Or maybe succeed
We’re all destined to die
What makes the difference?

The chance is so small
That’s why there is faith
Water breaks stones
How much more with a feet?
