Somewhere by the light.   Either asleep or awake, You’re in my mind sunken deep. I hear you whisper, “Come on! Take a leap.” Life’s too short to vacillate. I can’t afford to delay. It’s now or never! Come what may! Come what may! To dream as I sleep, Then live as I wake. Because in every vision, They require leaps of faith. To dream is not enough. Nothing’s left! Wake up! Open eyes, active mind. Jerone Avel S. Cansino As the rain falls and the night gets darker, my heart gets stronger. Stronger than ever harder than the stones, never will I falter. The cool winds has knocked me down, there I lie in the hands of danger. After the night, I woke up with wings renewed, I recovered from the fever. As I wander far from the light, I see a fool on a mirror. A fool disobeying child, with a faith that is so poor. Like a lone sheep, surrounded by wolves my heart was filled with terror. But at the end of the day the Lion came,  the wolves fled in horror. I ventured to follow my heart, away from him, I lived my days. Chasing after the wind as it is, chasing something from an empty space. An empty space bound for emptiness, leads me astray, away from His Grace. Jerone Avel S. Cansino I am an athlete. I work hard to be strong. I run, I jogg, I train. I train hard to endure everything I am an Eagle scout. To be prepared is my motto To expect the worst in every situation. To survive from the shadow of even the unknown. I am a student. My goal is to learn. Letters, numbers thoughts and Ideals. To sharpen my mind, and apply every knowledge I acquire. But, I am still a man. I have a very soft muscle called a heart Even if I am trained to endure, prepare and apply. Forever I will be weak, because for love, my heart will always fall. I may win every match I play. I may survive every forest and mountain trails. I may pass every examination I take. With my heart so soft, I will be weaker than everything.
