JERONE AVEL S. CANSINO, MAED   In this article, I want to share one particular book. This book is titled “Pedagogy of the Oppressed,” and for me, this is one of the best Philosophical pieces written about the impact of education on human society. It is a seminal book written by Brazilian educator and philosopher Paulo Freire. He published it in 1970. I am not aware of what is happening to this because I barely had the time to research it.   1.     The characters   In this series, I love how the characters present cultural diversity. I love how it is presented or how I think it challenges racism and other social issues. I love the way different social and cultural stereotypes are presented and simultaneously, destroyed by conversation from the characters. I also like the character development of the Asian character Grace Lee in her transition from a shy freshman to a character who is not very shy to drop her one-liners. Although annoying, it is interesting to see how ...
